"After a certain point, money is meaningless. It ceases to be the goal. The game is what counts."
 - Aristotle Onassis

money is something which creates the basic structure of our entire human existenceit is one of the most valuable key element which helps us sustain a balance between everything.

In simple words, money can be defined as an economic factor which gives us the power to acquire anything we want in whichever quantity we want.

it is the most suitable unit of negotiation between different markets which replaced the old traditional barter system under which goods are procured and bartered in exchange for goods and services.

but why we created money and what changed after it?

as we all know that necessity is the father of invention and as a result of the difficulties suffered by people during trade induced the idea of a unit with a special value which changed the entire monetary system of the world resulting in hassle-free trades and unstoppable flow of money all around the world.

but the question now is what was the objective of money and what it has become today? is it a boon or a curse? money brought peace or disturbance?

now we have the answer to all these questions as we have learned decades after decades the good, the bad, the consequences and the results money gave us.

people have found a number of points supporting their individual statements about money.

I personally think money has taken more from us than given us. here are some points supporting my statement :

  1. Scale to estimate capacity -it has given us a scale to measure how capable a person is with his assets. now everything a person has is defined only by the amount of money he possesses.
  2. The perfect way for comparison - we humans have always searched for ways to prove ourselves superior to others. with the introduction of money it became easier for us to do the comparison more efficiently as the person with more money wins, no questions asked.
  3. The proper definition of rich and poor - a person with a tremendous amount of money is called rich and a person with no money is poor. Now we have also different classes for the riches and the poor depending on the amount of money one possesses.
  4. the game of power - a rich person with more money always holds more power than a poor person. Because power is directly proportional to the amount of money a person holds. the more money someone has the more powerful he will be.
  5. Trade disputes with countries - the impact of money is large enough that it makes a country run solely by its flow, creating trade disputes with others and increasing the demand for money even more.

How much money we need to live a happy life?

money is our basic need and we have to understand that. it is something which puts food in our table and fulfils all our other needs. so we should respect it for the value it provides us but the question here is how much money we need to live a happy life?

the answer to this question is never enough because money will never be able to fulfil all our desires as new desires are born every day making us believe this is the one which will make me the happiest. so there's no point chasing unlimited money to fulfil our unlimited desires.

what are the signs that you are chasing money?

  1. thinking about money all the time
  2. dreaming to fulfil unnecessary desires
  3.  Searching on the internet " how to make money" instead of focusing on your skill-set you are passionate about.
  4. forgetting about your passion
  5. believing only money will make you happy
  6. choosing careers based on the money it offers
  7. believing money can solve every problem of your life
  8. forgetting your real value that is worth way more than any money
  9. forgetting the real purpose of life which is humanity
  10. forgetting how the small things make you happy and not the lavish things whose main purpose is to impress the world
  11.  and if you are asking the following kind of questions, believe me, you are chasing money making it the only purpose of  life

How to stop chasing money and get your real-life back?

every one of us at some point of our lives has chased money in some way whether it's desire or need we have done it.

remember there's a very thin line between chasing money and aspiring for it. the one who forgets all human values in search money is the money hunter, and the person who understands his true needs and looks at money only as a medium to fulfil, without treating it as a necessity is the one with the limitless capacity to control his life and acquire real happiness.

I personally think we have to reprogram our brain of what we are taught and believe about money, as it is very deeply rooted in our mainstream thoughts.

Following are some of the exercises  I have personally experienced useful :

  1. Find the true purpose of your life
  2. Ask yourself what really makes you happy
  3. Stop comparing yourself with others for what they have and you don't
  4. Lavish things are for showing off the world that you are superior and nothing else, somehow it can please you for a little while until it becomes your habit.
  5. It's ok to treat money as a need, just don't let it become your necessity because that's where people lose their control.
  6. Be capable enough that money finds ways to come to you, skilled enough that you don't have to search and starve for money anymore.
  7. Focus on self-growth
  8. Use your money to provide value to the world, by letting your every penny speak, how they can help millions starving for food and dying every day because they don't have enough and you have.
  9. "money can't buy us happiness "  but it can provide happiness to billions if you make them believe that there is someone who cares for them, with the best humanity can offer. because taking away people's pain is what makes a human real happy.
  10. Remember one thing we have come to this world without anything and will go with the same so why to hoard anything which can set a world-class example of how humanity feels like.
it's true that money has created a distraction in everyone's life making it impossible for us to find our real goal. that doesn't mean we have to fall in the money trap and waste our entire life starving for money without knowing the actual meaning and purpose of life.
we have to fight back and realize that a human is more than how
much money and fame he has. so stop being a part of the rat race which leads to nothing other than emptiness and self-hatred in the end.

Why you are not good enough ? : a question which needs to be answered 7 ways

“Don't doubt yourself for having all the good intentions others can never have, make yourself your first and last priority .”         ― The cosmic time Sometimes I find myself at places where I am forced to think that I am not good enough for a certain thing and I am 100% sure that almost every human being on this planet has gone through that very same feeling you are facing right now.  but the difference is some think they are not beautiful enough , some think they are not happy enough , some think they are not tall enough, concluding them together we can say no one has ever told themselves that they are good enough for anything at the very beginning.  The reason is we compare ourselves with others too much and too often as we believe that the life of the other person is perfect in every aspect we can imagine. but the truth is very distasteful because the person whose shoes you desperately want to try might be facing much bigger problems than you h...

How to find your passion and get a fulfilling life ? 4 simple and practical methods to understand your limitless capabilities..

" If you feel like there's something out there that you're supposed to be doing if you have a passion for it, then stop wishing and just do it. " - Wanda Sykes Passion is something we are born with which separates us from the rest of the world. It is something which makes us feel special about ourselves regardless of our status in society. or we can say it is the fuel which ignites the fire within us to make the unimaginable happen. it appears great to hear and easy to attain but the scenario is exactly the opposite of what we think. In real life it's difficult enough that some people find their passion in the early stages of their life, some find it later and some never at all. people make mistakes by searching their passion in the outside world looking and taking inspiration from people doing great in their specialized fields . we have to understand that finding real passion is an inner process which takes place only within us . I myself tried to copy others jus...

Stop saying yes when you don't mean it..

Photo by Xavi Cabrera on Unsplash "Don't allow people to suck up all your time with their questions or problems. Learn to say 'no' more often."  - Lewis Howes                                                                  Sometimes I feel pathetic when I say yes for the things I should have said no .   it really makes me stressed enough that just after saying yes I start finding ways to get out of the situation as soon as possible because somehow it affects my inner peace in a bad way and I think this is the case with almost every one of us. people struggle a lot just to say a simple no for the things they don't want to do. I say yes because I think I am gonna hurt people who are close to me and the people  I love.  I end up saying yes because I am afraid of rejection and don't want to be alone. Are ...
